Fibro Tribe is dedicated to providing a safe place to get information and support that we all need every day. Living with Fibromyalgia is a challenge on a good day and horribly problematic on a bad day! Having a Tribe of like-minded people can make life easier and more fun. While we will be talking about many subjects that are incredibly serious, we will also focus on the enjoyment that can be found in life and will offer tips and life hacks that can help you achieve a more balanced and comfortable life. We want our members to feel safe to talk about any topic that relates to living with Fibromyalgia. Together as a Tribe we can make life better for all of us!
I have combined by retail blog with my support blog as I believe they will compliment each other very well. Each blog post will be noted with it's own logo on the blog section of this website.
Because I live with Fibromyalgia every day, I had to adapt my work life to meet my ever changing needs, so I started an online boutique so that I could still work and also practice self-care every day. Sometimes practicing self-care can be hard when you realize that it involves changing careers. While it was a challenge for me to go from working in the healthcare field and moving to the online world of retail, my world is now set up so that I can take better care of myself and also provide support for those around me.
With the help of my now retired Firefighter husband, our business has been built with the chronically ill woman in mind; however we offer Boutique and Gently Used clothing and accessories for all women in sizes up to 6X. Because I live with a debilitating chronic illness it became increasingly hard for me to shop and find, both locally and online, the soft and comfy clothing that made my life a little better and at the price point I could afford. So I put my big girl panties on and decided to create what I was looking for, and that is how Lazy Leopard Boutique was born!
