About Us...
Our business has been built with the chronically ill woman in mind; however we offer New Boutique and Gently Loved clothing as well as accessories for all women in sizes up to 6X. I myself, as the owner, live with a debilitating chronic illness and over the years grew tired of shopping both locally and online and not finding the soft and comfy clothing that made my life a little better. I also needed a price point I could afford and really needed everything to be in one place! Running all over town was painful and super hard on my energy levels. So, I put my big girl panties on and decided to create what I was looking for, and that is how Lazy Leopard Boutique was born! (I Adore Leopard Print..lol) With the help from my amazing Husband and one of my best friends, we have created an online store on the App called Poshmark. I personally understand the challenges that chronically ill women have when it comes to shopping. Sometimes it’s just more manageable and practical to do it all online on your phone. That is one of the main reasons I chose to use this platform for my Boutique. No matter where I am or how I am feeling I can still work from my phone. And for a chronically ill woman that is a true blessing. Basically, I want to provide an online space for shopping where women like me can feel both comfortable and beautiful! We should never have to give up one to have the other! Q. Are you a thrift store?
A. No. But we do carry very gently used items and those items that are new with tag and new without tags. We take great care to make sure that all items we put online are free from damage, flaws, and odors. (However, we are human and can make mistakes, so if you find an item that has a flaw, please bring it to our attention). We use Ebay and Poshmark as guides to our pricing structure. We love the idea and business model of recycling and providing clothing for you so that it can find a new home.
Q. Why do you call your business a boutique instead of a store or shop?
A. A boutique is a small store that sells stylish clothing, jewelry, and other accessories. The word is French for "shop". A boutique usually is designed around a theme or a cause. Our Theme is Obviously All that is Lovely Leopard, but our Cause is near and dear to my heart….Chronic Illness Awareness, Specifically Fibromyalgia.
Q. What is the difference between boutique and resale merchandise?
A. Boutique merchandise is clothing and accessories that are purchased brand new from a wholesale supplier or manufacturer and sold to the public brand new.
Q. What is Resale?
A. Resale is merchandise that has been purchased from private individuals or businesses that has been previously purchased by individuals, used or not used and may still have the original retail store tags. Ones that have no tags are classified as gently used or pre-loved. The ones with original retail store tags are classified as NWT. Sometimes items will be new but not have the tags so they are classified as NWOT.

Q. Where is your online boutique is located?
A. Our online boutique is located on the app called Poshmark. It can be downloaded free from the app store, or you can visit on your computer at www.poshmark.com/closet/lazyleopardbtq
Q. Why do you only sell on Poshmark?
A. Because I live and work with a chronic illness, I had to find a platform for my business that I could do entirely from my phone. Poshmark allows me to do that and with that flexibility I can literally work from anywhere, including my bed on the worst of days.
Q. How does Poshmark shipping work?
A. Shipping on Poshmark is super easy. It is a flat fee of $7.11 for up to 5lbs. Time frames are 1-3 days. Poshmark allows you to bundle items from the same closet up to 5lbs for that one shipping price, thus making your shipping fee more economical.

Q. Why do you do this kind of public business when you are sick most of the time with a chronic illness?
A. Because living with a chronic illness does not mean that I don’t get to live my life the way I want to. It just means I have to be more creative about how I live it! Although I did not choose to get ill, I do wake up every morning and choose to live my best life on my terms! As We All Should!
